Book Review: "Keeler Moon" by Stefaunia Dhillon

"Keeler Moon" by Stefaunia Dhillon
*****

“Keeler Moon” is a fantastical journey with Ruby and Sade as they try and save their brother Keeler. Only it’s not just a matter of Keeler’s life at stake but that of their world and all other humans. Someone is out to turn normal, albeit gifted, children into what they believe is a different type of human being to begin a whole new world.

Grey and Luna have their own harrowing adventures, which are not only tied but instrumental to the safety of Ruby, Sade, Keeler and the other children. Grey and Luna realize that they must come to the aid of Ruby and Sade, and along the way, find they have their own issues to resolve.

This is a wonderful tale that is brought to life by Dhillon’s talent as not only an author but an artist as well. She brings Crystal City to life, as well as the confines of the school for ‘gifted’ children by painting colorful imagery with just mere words.

Dhillon has amazing talent and I recommend this book for any young adult who wishes to travel to another time and dimension. Very entertaining and I can’t wait for the second installment!
